POS for .NET Driver for Line Displays with Serial or USB Port

This POS for .NET driver supports Logic Controls OPOS serial or
USB pole displays and table displays.
          
This version of POS for .NET drvier supports Serial and USB
interface line displays with LCI command set.  Make sure that 
the LCI command set is loaded into the displays.

For USB line displays, please install USB drivers first.

For LV3000 and LV4000 LCD displays, please install USB driver and
the virtual serial port pole display emulator for these models.  
The POS for .net driver will work with the virtual serial ports.

Please follow instructions below to install the Logic Controls 
POS for .Net drivers for Line Displays.


DRIVER INSTALLATION
-------------------

1.	Download Microsoft Point of Service for .NET from Microsoft 
	website and install.

	http://download.microsoft.com

2.	Connect the Serial/USB pole display to the Serial/USB port of 
	the computer.

3.	Double click on "PD_POS_for_dot_NET Setup.msi" in this driver 
	package to start installation of the driver.

4.	After installation, go to "Program Files" and open folder 
	"Logic Controls POS for .Net PD Serial Driver".  Then click on
	"Port Setup".

5.	If the "User Account Control" dialog windows pops up, click
	"Yes" to continue.  Then input the port name used with the
	display.  For example, COM1, COM6 etc. depending on the COM
	port that the display is physically connected to or the virtual
	COM port name provided by the pole display emulator of the LCD 
	pole displays.  If the line display is with USB interface, 
	enter port name "USB".

5.	To setup LDN (Logical Device Name), go to "Program Files" and
	open folder "Logic Controls POS for .Net PD Serial Driver".  
	Then click on "LDN Setup".  Enter the desired LDN.  The list
	of current LDN will be shown.

6.	To test the driver, go to "Program Files" and open folder
	"Microsoft POS for .NET".  Then open folder "POS for .NET SDK 
	Samples" and sub folder "Sample Application".  Invoke test
	program "TestApp" to test and verify the installation.

7.	Set up POS software to work the with the LDN of the display
	and test to verify the display operation.
